About Me

My name is Ileana. I have been learning and studying astrology since 2015. However, I have been into astrology since I was little, watching my mother tune into the weekly horoscope on TV by the Puerto Rican astrologer, Walter Mercado. I asked my mother for my sign so I could listen for my weekly horoscope and she told me I was a Capricorn. I am also a reflector in human design, but most importantly, I am a soul having human experience . I find astrology to be a blueprint of our soul contract when coming in. Not something fixed or set in stone, but a tool we can use to help us in our daily lives, whether it be for career guidance, love, money, even parenting. I come from a long ancestral lineage of curanderas /medicine women and men from the Yucatán peninsula as well as Taino curanderas from the island of Puerto Rico. It is here where I have gathered my ancestral wisdom on my healing journey and have sat with sacred plant medicines like sacred mushrooms, ayahuasca, bufo, Kambo, and more. Apart from astrology, I also facilitate local Cacao ceremonies where I use sound as another form of healing and connecting by playing the sacred drum, native flute, bowls, and more.
